Every Wednesday night me and a few friends go to a trivia quiz night at a nearby club. I usually stay back at work late as trivia starts at 7pm, and then drive there straight from work.
After checking the distance on Google maps I was overjoyed to see it was just 1 km to trivia, and knew I could easily walk it. The whole way I had a spring in my step, and really proud of myself for ditching the car. The area can be slightly dodgy though, so I had to keep my guard up for weirdos.
The walk was uneventful in terms of dodgy folk, but I did over-stretch my previously injured calf muscle. I’m so worried I’m going to keep damaging it.
Low impact exercise for me for a while. I love my calf muscles. They’re the *only* part of me that is muscly!
