I’ve always been a pleasure eater, a frequent restaurant diner and love to cook at home. When I first started understanding what I could do to have a healthier outlook on life learning about nutrition seemed like a good place to start.
Looking back now nutrition wasn’t really a word I entertained. It was part of that healthy group of words I tried to ignore; others included fitness, exercise and goals. Ick. None of these interested me.
Thanks Nutrition Diva
I listened to a Nutrition Diva podcast and was instantly hooked to Monica Reinagel’s no-nonsense evidence-based style. I knew I could learn lots about my food from subscribing. She writes a great blog too, Nutrition Over Easy.
Not only has her podcast helped me understand lots about my food, but it has fed my thirst for knowledge on the subject. I was encouraged to keep a food diary, and keeping track of my daily levels of nutrients showed me where I was going wrong.
I encourage any people like me with lots to lose and not really sure where to start to download a few episodes. They’re snackable length too, usually about 5 minutes. In every episode there’s a little tip for me to take away.
Do you listen to podcasts too? I’d love some tips on other great healthy lifestyle podcasts!
