This is an iPhone app I love! It really is a pedometer on steroids and collects heaps of data about your exercise. I started using the free version of the app, and I’ve since upgraded to the paid model primarily as a thank you to the app developers for having such an awesome and useful program.

The best geeky feature though is the gps recording of your distance. I can see exactly what streets I walked down, and at what point I reached little micro goals.
I HATE Goal Setting
I’ve never been much of a goal setter or a planner, in fact in general personal responsibility isn’t my strong point. The main reason I love it is because it helps with little motivating messages. I can set goals, which I think I should just call Fat Foes, and it tells me as I’m going how far through my goal I am. This is awesome because when you’ve got lots to lose motivation is really difficult and every little bit helps.
It’s also great because I can set up a playlist in iTunes, and play that playlist through the app – then it pauses the music to tell me how far through my goal I am.
